My Theory on Interior Design

A close girlfriend of mine is moving into her new flat soon and asked me for advice on how to decorate it - where to find the best pieces, what’s worth the price tag, etc. She had her mood board all ready to execute and her colour palette picked out to the specifics, and it got me thinking... the best interiors, in my experience, are never truly designed, they happen organically. Now, she is a top London florist, and although our styles do differ, she still has great taste—and it’s HER taste. Whatever she does, you can tell it’s hers because it has her signature flare or essence—without being too curated.
